James Fishback

James Fishback opens his "Contract with Florida" — a numbered list of promises the page says are binding, and which he writes he forfeits his right to seek re-election by breaking — with a commitment to "reject any donation from AIPAC or any organization that lobbies on behalf of a foreign nation." It is the first item on the list. What it is, and is not: a pledge about who funds his campaign, and a specific and checkable one. It is not a statement about U.S. weapons or U.S. money going to the government of Israel, which his site does not address, and the office he is seeking has no vote on either.
