Gentner Drummond

Republican · Governor of OK

Gentner Drummond’s record runs one way, and it has two halves. In November 2023 he joined 25 other state attorneys general in a letter to Congress and the White House urging “immediate aid--including military resources” for Israel. Since early 2024 he has pressed the other way on money going to Palestinians, working to end U.S. funding for UNRWA, the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees. In February 2024 he joined 25 other state attorneys general in a letter to congressional leadership urging an end to U.S. contributions to the agency, both future and already scheduled, and asking that no U.S. funds reach humanitarian aid in Gaza unless its staff are audited. He signed a follow-up that May with 23 other attorneys general, asking Congress to end all U.S. funding to it. He has never held federal office, so there is no vote of his on any of this, and his 2026 campaign issues page lists only Tax Relief, Rural Roads and Education.
