Dave Min
Min co-sponsored the Block the Bombs Act in April 2026, saying he cannot support taxpayers funding offensive weaponry to Israel without congressional oversight, while continuing to back defensive systems like Iron Dome. In July 2026 he opposed Foreign Military Financing purchases of offensive U.S. weapons by Israel.
On April 2, 2026 Min announced he was co-sponsoring H.R. 3565, the Block the Bombs Act: "I cannot in good conscience support U.S. taxpayers continuing to fund offensive weaponry" going to Israel without oversight from Congress, while saying "I will continue to support the provision of defensive weaponry to Israel, including components for the Iron Dome." In the same statement he described "grave concerns over Netanyahu's actions in Gaza," citing the displacement of millions of Palestinians and more than 70,000 deaths.
On July 15, 2026, in a statement on the Massie Amendment to the foreign aid bill, he said "American tax dollars should not be used to bankroll military action by other countries" that do not align with U.S. interests and values, described the amendment as stopping Israel from using Foreign Military Financing to purchase American offensive weapons, and said Netanyahu's government "is seeking to expand and prolong war in the Middle East." He again backed keeping defensive support such as Iron Dome.
Earlier, he urged de-escalation of the June 2025 Israel-Iran escalation. During his 2024 primary, after AIPAC ran opposition spending against him, Min told the Guardian in March 2024: "Maybe AIPAC wants a rubber stamp. I'm not going to be a rubber stamp." His J Street PAC endorsement page describes a platform of diplomacy toward a two-state solution with security for Israelis and Palestinians.
