During Florida's November 2023 special session she filed HR 31-C, a resolution urging the Biden administration 'to immediately call for and facilitate de-escalation and a cease-fire to promptly end the current violence in the State of Israel and occupied Palestine, and to promptly send and facilitate the entry of humanitarian assistance into Gaza'; the House rejected it 2-104 on Nov. 7, 2023, with only Nixon and Rep. Anna Eskamani in favour, and numerous members turned their backs to her as she closed debate. On April 29, 2025 she was one of three House members (with Eskamani and Rep. Joseph) to vote against CS/CS/SB 1678, which expanded Florida's prohibition on state investment in and contracting with entities that boycott Israel (Fla. Stat. 215.4725 and 287.135) to reach educational institutions, nonprofits, agencies, local and foreign governments and academic boycotts; the bill passed 111-3 and became Chapter 2025-192. Her U.S. Senate platform page lists, among the things 'Angie will fight for,' 'Ending unconditional U.S. military aid that has fueled the genocide in Palestine,' plus surging humanitarian aid into Gaza and the West Bank and restoring U.S. funding across UN agencies, framed by the statement that American foreign policy should not reflect 'the interests of defense contractors and foreign lobbies.' In June 2026 she said in a post on X, quoted by Florida Politics, 'I am not bought by corporations. I am not receiving AIPAC funding.' After the U.S. House in mid-July 2026 defeated Rep. Thomas Massie's amendment to strip $3.3 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Israel — a measure 103 House Democrats supported — Nixon told a Florida Phoenix reporter on WMNF radio in Tampa that she would have voted for it, because 'we cannot continue to send money to countries that are violating international law.' USCPR Action listed her among its 2026 endorsed candidates; that group states its endorsees have committed to block U.S. weapons transfers and military funding to Israel, to support the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement, and to refuse any money from AIPAC.
