His position dates from his primary campaign. At an Atlanta Press Club debate in May 2024 the coverage records that all five candidates on the stage backed increased U.S. financial support for Israel in its conflict with Hamas. That is the collective wording, it does not say military assistance, and nothing narrower is attributed to him alone.
In June 2025, after joint operations against Iranian nuclear facilities, he issued a statement supporting U.S. forces and the President and framing the alignment as essential to protecting both U.S. national security and Israel from a nuclear-armed Iran.
