Zach Lahn
No statement by Lahn was located on U.S. weapons or money for the government of Israel, on aid to Palestinians, or on the conflict (source-checked research). His campaign runs on an expressly "Iowa First", state-issues platform: land ownership, water quality, state governance.
Lahn is a Belle Plaine businessman who won the June 2, 2026 Republican primary for governor. His platform is deliberately state-bounded, and nothing located from him touches any dimension of this issue.
His iVoterGuide questionnaire, which we read in full, is a wall of "Did not answer" on every topic, including the prompt about the U.S.-Israel relationship. That says nothing about him in particular: a candidate who answered nothing anywhere has not dodged one question.
In February 2026 he appeared on Tucker Carlson's online show to discuss farmland and his campaign; coverage noted controversy around the host's own commentary on Israel, and opponents asked whether Lahn would repudiate it.
