Susan Collins
Susan Collins (R), Maine's senior senator and chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, has consistently supported U.S. military assistance and arms sales to Israel. She voted Yea on final passage of the FY2024 national security supplemental that provided aid to Israel, Ukraine and Indo-Pacific partners (April 23, 2024), and she voted Nay on all seven Senate joint resolutions of disapproval that sought to block proposed U.S. arms sales or transfers to Israel (three on Nov. 20, 2024; two on April 3, 2025; two on July 30, 2025), each of which was rejected. In May 2024 she co-signed a letter pressing the Biden administration for answers about its decision to withhold certain munitions shipments from Israel.
