Lynne Walz (D) is the Democratic nominee for Nebraska governor in the November 3, 2026 general election, having won the May 12, 2026 Democratic primary. She is a former two-term Nebraska state senator from Fremont (Legislative District 15, 2017-2025) and was the 2018 Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor. She is a distinct individual from Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
