Walz is the Democratic nominee for governor of Nebraska. She served two terms as a state senator for Fremont's district and was her party's nominee for lieutenant governor once before. She has never held federal office, so none of the congressional votes this site tracks are hers. She is not the Minnesota governor with the same surname, and nothing about him belongs on this page.
We found nothing from her on any part of this question, and a second search in August 2026 found nothing either. Her platform, published in July 2026, covers the state budget, taxes, medical cannabis, veterans, school vouchers and government transparency, and has no foreign-policy content at all. Her biography page is about her family, her work and her legislative service. Nothing in her eight years in the legislature touches it either.
The only place the subject brushes her record is somebody else's complaint. The Nebraska Examiner reported that the Legal Marijuana NOW nominee in the race criticized her for leaving out subjects he thought a candidate should address, among them the war between Israel and Iran and the governor's remarks about Palestinians. That is his complaint about her platform, not a statement by her, and it is carried as such.
In her years in the legislature there was one Nebraska bill on this subject, a proposal to bar public contracts with companies that boycott Israel. It was indefinitely postponed without a recorded floor vote, so no state senator's position on it is on the record, including hers.
