Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), the incumbent seeking re-election in 2026, has a long record as an ally of Israel and pro-Israel groups whose Gaza-era position has shifted. On every Sanders-led Joint Resolution of Disapproval to block U.S. arms sales to Israel from November 2024 through July 2025 he voted 'Nay' (i.e., to allow the sales) - three resolutions on Nov. 20, 2024 (S.J.Res.111, 113, 115), two on April 3, 2025 (S.J.Res.26, S.J.Res.33), and two on July 30, 2025 (S.J.Res.34, S.J.Res.41). On April 15, 2026 he reversed course and, for the first time, voted 'Yea' to block two sales (S.J.Res.32 and S.J.Res.138), framing it as opposition to the U.S.-Israel war on Iran rather than a break with Israel's defense. In March 2026 he told Politico he would reject AIPAC and other PAC money, though he retained AIPAC's endorsement.
