We track key votes on sending U.S. weapons and money to the government of Israel. A check means every tracked vote they cast came down against sending more, on the side of peace and de-escalation. Sapaskis is the Republican candidate in New York's 15th District in the Bronx, running against Rep. Ritchie Torres. Ballotpedia records that his 2026 primary was canceled, that he was the Republican nominee for the same seat in 2022, that he ran for City Council in 2025, and that he has completed no candidate survey in any of those years; it lists no campaign website for him.
This is a genuinely empty record. Two voter-guide questionnaires that carry an Israel item, one from 2016 and one from 2022, show every question unanswered, which says he never filled the forms in, not that he declined on Israel. The only words of his located anywhere are a short 2022 note to a voter guide about inflation and the minimum wage and a two-minute radio segment on Bronx public safety. City & State reported in 2022 that he had filed no fundraising with the FEC.

District 16, New York primary of June 28, 2016 (read 2026-09-03): 25 items, all "Did not answer", including "The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies." A wall of non-answers is a fact about the guide's coverage, not about the candidate (the questionnaire test, contract 4.11). Confirmed and discounted.
[Prior, 2022] iVoterGuide, U.S. Rep. District 15, New York general of November 8, 2022 (read 2026-09-03): roughly 40 items, all "Did not answer", including the foreign-policy item and "I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees."
