How this mark works
We track key votes on sending U.S. weapons and money to the government of Israel. A check means every tracked vote they cast came down against sending more, on the side of peace and de-escalation. A question mark means a mixed record: they sided with sending up to half of the time. Coleman is the Republican nominee in Ohio's 13th District, a former WNIR talk-radio host and television meteorologist who won the May 5, 2026 primary and faces Rep. Emilia Sykes in November.

Among many attacks on other subjects, it says: "He has praised racist far-right online provocateur Nick Shirley — who harassed street vendors as 'dangerous migrant scammers' and publicly endorsed an antisemitic 'Jewish invasion' video — as 'truly amazing.'" The memo's own links behind that sentence resolve to a post on his campaign's X account (https://x.com/colemanforohio/status/2019483839140180096, which does not render to us), to a December 31, 2025 Intercept report on Shirley's Minnesota videos, to a Yahoo-syndicated opinion piece on Shirley, and to a YouTube video. The characterizations are the DCCC's; the words "truly amazing" could not be read at their source. This is an opposing party committee speaking about the candidate: research page only.
