Deep Dive
Crawford represents Arkansas’s 1st District, is the sitting member, and chairs the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
His recorded votes on the tracked bills appear as badges on this card, all on the support side, including votes against both amendments to cut aid to Israel. In August 2025 he led the committee’s first bipartisan delegation to Israel, meeting Prime Minister Netanyahu and Ambassador Huckabee "to reiterate the United States’ continued support of its ally, Israel, and its right to defend itself"; his own release also describes visiting the Kerem Shalom border crossing, which he said "gave me a better understanding of efforts to surge aid" into Gaza.
In October 2025, Jewish Insider reported that he and Democratic Representative Gottheimer would introduce a resolution condemning Hamas for its "campaign of executions and intimidation against innocent Palestinians in Gaza" after the ceasefire. Welcoming the new ambassador that April, he called Israel one of America’s greatest allies needing support "more than ever".
His statements from the weeks after the October 2023 attack are on the research page, as is a 2026 television interview this project could not watch. Nothing located has him addressing U.S. humanitarian aid funding as a question of its own.
