Eric Jones

Democrat · U.S. House, California District 4

At an April 2026 Indivisible forum, Jones reportedly said he would vote no on U.S. military assistance packages to Israel and criticized Rep. Thompson's votes for Iron Dome funding, per community accounts pending verification. He has published no platform on aid to Israel or to Palestinians.

Eric Jones is the Democratic challenger to Rep. Mike Thompson in California's 4th district, a former venture capitalist and co-founder of the American Dream Institute, per Ballotpedia and CapRadio's race overview.

His reported positions on U.S. aid to Israel rest on community accounts of an April 2026 Indivisible candidate forum, mainly a Reddit forum recap. Per those accounts he criticized Thompson for military and defense spending votes including Iron Dome funding for Israel, said he would vote no on foreign military assistance packages to Israel, and named AIPAC when discussing special interest lobbying. Verification of the recap was blocked; these remain unconfirmed.

The forum accounts also report he answered no when asked whether Israel's actions in Gaza are a genocide, but a reader comment on a Davisite piece about his campaign claims the opposite, that he calls what is happening in Gaza a genocide. Both are unverified secondhand accounts; neither is stated on this card as his position. His official candidate statement and campaign materials contain no Israel or Palestinian aid platform.
