Jeff Belle

Republican · U.S. House, California District 52

Belle has not offered policy proposals on U.S. military aid to the government of Israel or U.S. aid to Palestinians. On a 2026 questionnaire he called Israel "our number one ally!" In an April 2026 interview he said the U.S. has done a lot for Israel.

Belle, a Navy veteran and former Contra Costa County Board of Education member challenging incumbent Juan Vargas in CA-52, has not released policy proposals on conditioning, expanding, or reducing U.S. military aid or weapons transfers to the government of Israel, and nothing on U.S. aid to Palestinians.

On his 2026 iVoterGuide questionnaire, asked whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he answered "Yes, our number one ally!" and answered "Strongly Agree" that Islamic terrorism threatens U.S. national security. In a video interview published April 20, 2026, he said the U.S. has helped build a military system and has done a lot for Israel, framed regional security around keeping Iran from nuclear capability, and said that as a Christian he believes the Bible says to pray for Israel (video statements pending verification).
