Pettersen represents Colorado’s 7th District and is the sitting member.
Her recorded votes on the tracked bills appear as badges on this card and point both ways: against the November 2023 standalone bill, for the April 2024 package, against the May 2024 shipment-release bill, against the amendment striking Israeli Cooperative Programs funding, and in July 2026 for the Massie amendment barring FY27 funds. Her February 2024 statement explains the standalone pattern (national-security funding should move as a combined bipartisan package including Ukraine aid and humanitarian assistance), calling for members "to come together if we want to achieve real, comprehensive solutions"; the July 2026 joint statement with Representatives Crow, Neguse and DeGette explains the cut: "Today we voted against additional taxpayer-funded military aid being given to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s government. We support Israel’s right to exist and defend itself."
On aid to Palestinians she has led directly: in August 2025 she and Representative Pressley led more than 100 colleagues urging Secretary Rubio to demand a surge of infant formula into Gaza, and pressed again in November after the State Department’s response.
Her district’s Jewish press reported community dismay at the 2026 cutting vote; that reaction, and an adversary tracker’s page on a protest at her office, are on the research page as others’ voices.
