But What Can You Do? tracks where 2026 candidates stand on U.S. weapons and funding for the government of Israel. How we check
Mario Diaz-Balart
- Backed with $31K by PACs we track that support U.S. weapons funding for the government of Israel (lifetime)
- Endorsed by AIPAC
- Sits on House Appropriations
Presenting his 2027 foreign aid bill in July 2026, Díaz-Balart said it fully funds the memorandum of understanding with the government of Israel by providing $3.3 billion in security assistance. In May 2024 he cosponsored a bill compelling delivery to that government of weapons President Biden had paused.

Deep Dive
Mario Díaz-Balart has served in the U.S. House since January 2003 and is in his twelfth term. His district takes in part of Miami-Dade County, including Hialeah, Miami Lakes and Doral, and part of Collier County, including Golden Gate and Everglades City. He is Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and chairs its subcommittee on National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs, the panel that writes the annual foreign aid bill, and he sits on the Defense subcommittee as well. He is running for re-election on November 3, 2026 against Nicole Locklin and Deborah Meidinger Hosey.
Because he writes that bill, his answer on American money for the government of Israel is in the text of the law as much as in his statements, and it has been the same figure in every bill he has produced. His 2025 bill provided $3.3 billion for the Foreign Military Financing Program for Israel; his 2026 bill, signed into law in February 2026, funds security assistance for that government at $3.3 billion, consistent with the United States and Israel memorandum of understanding; his 2027 bill keeps no less than $3.3 billion in Foreign Military Financing Program funds. Writing in the Washington Examiner in September 2024 about the bill he had just moved through the House, he said it fully funds the Memorandum of Understanding with Israel at $3.3 billion. His campaign site puts the same claim to voters, saying that as chairman he cut spending sixteen percent while fully funding the U.S.–Israel Memorandum of Understanding.
On weapons he has gone further than funding them. When the Biden administration paused a shipment in the spring of 2024, he was one of four appropriations chairmen who put a bill on the floor to force the delivery. He said: “The Israel Security Assistance Support Act mandates that President Biden follow the law – a law that he requested and signed – to send weapons to our friend and ally, Israel.” In the same statement he said they would not stand by as the administration pressured Israel to fight for its survival with one hand tied behind its back. Earlier that year he was an original cosponsor of the standalone $17.6 billion package for the government of Israel, which he said provides urgently needed funding for our friend and ally Israel, and of the larger set of security bills that followed, which he said fully funds our security commitments to support Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.
He has also said plainly what he thinks of attaching conditions to that money. At an April 2026 markup of his 2027 bill, Democrats on the committee pressed for new human rights conditions on the $3.3 billion. Jewish Insider, a Washington news outlet covering Jewish political life, reported that he pointed to Hamas placing fighters and infrastructure among civilians and noted that the aid is already subject to global human rights conditions, and quoted him saying: “These other conditions, additional conditions, are totally unnecessary. I think they’re totally inappropriate to one of our closest allies that is under serious threat right now”.
On American money for Palestinians, his bills bar it in one direction and condition it in another. Since the 2024 bill his legislation has prohibited United States funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, the agency that runs schools, clinics and emergency aid for Palestinian refugees, and the fiscal 2026 law he wrote carries that prohibition along with a bar on funding the United Nations commission of inquiry, a bar on moving the U.S. embassy out of Jerusalem, and language requiring full compliance with the Taylor Force Act, the law that withholds aid to the Palestinian Authority while it pays the families of people convicted of attacks. Asked in November 2024 how the ban came about, he said the agency had in essence become almost like an agency of Hamas and added: “The Administration and the Democrats in the Senate wanted to keep funding a group that, I think, has become captured entirely by Hamas.”
How he describes the war, his 2023 statements, his statements about Iran, and his work on antisemitism with the Congressional Latino-Jewish Caucus he co-chairs are on his research page.

How this mark works
We track key votes on sending U.S. weapons and money to the government of Israel. A check means every tracked vote they cast came down against sending more, on the side of peace and de-escalation. A question mark means a mixed record: they sided with sending up to half of the time. An X means they voted to send more weapons and money in over half of their tracked votes, even as the way those weapons and dollars were being used became more and more obvious. At exactly half, money this election cycle from a lobbying group we track, or an endorsement from a group that backs sending weapons, makes it an X. Only votes actually cast are counted. Where a candidate has no recorded votes on these bills, the mark comes instead from a reviewed reading of their public record (money from the lobbying groups we track, endorsements, and their own words since January 26, 2024). There an X also covers fully backing the conduct of the war by the government of Israel without significant reservations, and a question mark also covers speaking about Israel without saying clearly where they stand on U.S. weapons and funding. A dash means No Position Found: we found nothing in their own words about Israel, Gaza or the war.
See a dash? Ask the candidate where they stand, then send us their answer and we'll review it and update the mark. Or volunteer to help review candidates.
Voted to send weapons or funding in more than half of their recorded tracked votes. (Supported sending weapons or funding in 6 of 6 tracked votes.)

Research log
The notes behind this card: what we looked at, what we found, and where each item came from.
Our research for this card began with a search run on 2026-09-07, and every page below was opened and read on 2026-09-08. His congressional newsroom was read in full: all 460 items published between July 2022 and September 2026, in English and in Spanish, each one searched for this subject; 83 of them touch it and every one of those is on this page. His biography and district pages, his campaign site, his Ballotpedia page and the outside reports our research pointed at were read as well. Bands: Position (2024-01-26 onward), Reaction window (2023-10-07 to 2024-01-25), Earlier record (before 2023-10-07), Undated. His recorded House votes and the tracked funding totals are shown as badges on this card and are not restated here.
U.S. military aid and weapons to the government of Israel
- [Position, 2026-07-15] His opening remarks leading floor debate on the fiscal 2027 National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs appropriations bill, H.R. 8595. He said: “Yet, our national security priorities are funded at or above prior year levels. The bill maintains $1.8 billion for partners in the Indo-Pacific, including $500 million in military assistance for Taiwan. It provides unwavering support for Israel and fully funds the United States-Israel Memorandum of Understanding by providing $3.3 billion in security assistance.” The same remarks say the bill prohibits funds to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency and requires accountability for its staff involved in the October 7, 2023 attacks.
- [Position, 2026-07-15] His office's account of the House passing that bill. Its summary of the bill includes “Providing unwavering support for Israel by including no less than $3.3 billion in Foreign Military Financing Program funds” and “Prohibiting funds for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).”
- [Position, 2026-04-29] Jewish Insider's report of the House Appropriations Committee markup of that bill, a Washington news outlet covering Jewish political life. Rep. Mike Quigley offered and then withdrew an amendment that would have barred United States funded weapons from being used to expand settlements or destroy civilian property in the West Bank or Gaza; a second Quigley amendment setting aside at least $400 million to rebuild civilian infrastructure in Gaza failed 32 to 25. The report says Díaz-Balart “emphasized Hamas’ use of human shields in Gaza and placement of terror infrastructure under schools, hospitals and United Nations facilities, and noted that U.S. aid to Israel is already subject to global human rights conditions.” It quotes him: “These other conditions, additional conditions, are totally unnecessary. I think they’re totally inappropriate to one of our closest allies that is under serious threat right now,” with the report adding that he continued. The words quoted in the same report from Rep. Rosa DeLauro and Rep. Lois Frankel are theirs and are not used on this card.
- [Position, 2026-04-23] The release of his fiscal 2027 bill, whose summary carries the same $3.3 billion line and the same prohibition on funding the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees. His office reported the committee approving it on April 28, 2026.
- [Position, 2026-02-04] His office's account of President Trump signing his fiscal 2026 bill into law, as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026. Under the heading “Standing with our friend and ally, Israel by:” the summary lists “Providing unwavering support for Israel by fully funding security assistance for Israel at $3.3 billion, consistent with the United States-Israel Memorandum of Understanding”, prohibiting United States funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, prohibiting funding for the United Nations commission of inquiry, prohibiting any funds being used to move the United States embassy out of Jerusalem, continuing restrictions against payments to prisoners for acts of terrorism, “Including language to ensure full compliance with the Taylor Force Act”, and “Extending Israel’s access to defense articles in the War Reserves Stockpile and loan guarantees for Israel.” His own quoted words in the release are about spending cuts and do not name Israel. His office published the same account with a further passage in January 2026, when the House passed the package.
- [Position, 2025-07-15] The release of his fiscal 2026 bill: “Providing unwavering support for Israel by including no less than $3.3 billion in Foreign Military Financing Program funds.” The committee approved it on July 23, 2025.
- [Position, 2024-09-10] His Washington Examiner opinion piece, republished in full by his office, on his fiscal 2025 bill, H.R. 8771. He wrote: “The fiscal 2025 SFOPS bill would support our friends and allies that help advance our joint national security interests. For example, the bill fully funds the Memorandum of Understanding with Israel at $3.3 billion. It encourages the State Department to use its resources to support the Abraham Accords and to secure the return of the hostages held by Hamas since Oct. 7. The bill also requires vetting of funded NGOs to ensure they do not participate in the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel.” The same piece asks: “Does funding the antisemitic, anti-American United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which employs Hamas terrorists and propagates hatred against Jews, promote our values?”
- [Position, 2024-06-04, 2024-06-12 and 2024-06-28] The release of that fiscal 2025 bill: “Providing unwavering support for Israel by including $3.3 billion for the Foreign Military Financing Program” and “Prohibiting funding for the International Criminal Court, International Court of Justice, United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA), and the United Nations Commission of Inquiry against Israel”. Subcommittee approval and full committee approval are recorded separately, each in English and in Spanish.
- [Position, 2024-05-16] His office's account of House passage of the Israel Security Assistance Support Act, introduced by Rep. Ken Calvert and cosponsored by Rep. Tom Cole, Díaz-Balart and Rep. David Joyce, and passed 224 to 187. The release says the bill “curbs President Biden’s misguided efforts to withhold critical security resources appropriated in U.S. law by compelling the delivery of defense weapons to Israel”, and lists its provisions: compelling expeditious delivery of approved defense articles and services including third-party deliveries; withholding funds from the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of State and the National Security Council until suspended articles are delivered; condemning the pause; reaffirming Israel's right to self-defense; and requiring a report on actions taken to withhold security assistance. He is quoted: “The Israel Security Assistance Support Act mandates that President Biden follow the law – a law that he requested and signed – to send weapons to our friend and ally, Israel. In contrast to the weak and confused policy of the Biden Administration, the House is standing solidly with Israel as it wages an existential battle against the terrorist state of Iran, and its terrorist proxies Hamas and Hezbollah. We must ensure that Israel has what it needs to eradicate Hamas, which vows Israel’s destruction. We simply will not stand by as the Biden Administration pressures Israel to fight for its survival with one hand tied behind its back.” The words of Rep. Calvert, Rep. Cole and Rep. Joyce printed in the same release are theirs and are not used on this card.
- [Position, 2024-05-13] The Jewish News Syndicate report of the same bill records a joint statement by the four members: withholding resources would “impede our national and global security and send a dangerous signal that the U.S. cannot be counted on as a partner”. That is a collective statement of four members and is recorded here as such.
- [Position, 2024-04-16, 2024-04-17 and 2024-04-20] Three statements on the security supplemental bills. On April 16 he joined five other Republican committee chairmen in a statement supporting the Speaker's plan to pass the full national security package. On April 17 he said: “As Chairman of the subcommittee that provides funds for national security and foreign assistance priorities, I am proud to be an original cosponsor of these important pieces of legislation.” A sentence about China, Russia and Iran follows, and then: “This bill fully funds our security commitments to support Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, which are confronting existential challenges as they face threats from dangerous, anti-American regimes.” Both are on the page. On April 20, after passage, he said he was very pleased the House passed these important pieces of legislation and repeated the phrase about fully funding security commitments to Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan.
- [Position, 2024-04-09; his office republished it 2024-04-10] His Miami Herald opinion piece on the fiscal 2024 bill: “For example, this legislation provides unwavering support to our key democratic ally in the Middle East, Israel, as it wages an existential battle against terrorism. It fully funds the U.S.-Israel Memorandum of Understanding at $3.3 billion, conditions any assistance to Gaza, and strengthens vetting to prevent funds from going to non-governmental organizations that support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement.”
- [Position, 2024-02-03] His statement on the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, which his office describes as including $17.6 billion for Israel and funding for United States forces in the region. He is quoted: “As Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs of the House Committee on Appropriations, I am proud to be an original cosponsor of this important legislation, which provides urgently needed funding for our friend and ally Israel and support for U.S. Forces in the region. Israel must defeat the terrorists of Hamas, and it will do so with robust U.S. assistance.”
- [Position, 2026-08-29] A post on Medium by Ravi Balgobin Maharaj about the July 2026 vote on the Massie amendment says that Díaz-Balart “argued during the debate that Israel uses the overwhelming majority of the funding to purchase American-made military equipment”, citing Roll Call. That is a self-published account of a debate, no words of his are quoted in it, and nothing from it is used on this card. Our research reported this claim as a record of what he said on the floor.
- [Earlier record, 2023-06-23, 2023-07-12 and 2023-09-29] His fiscal 2024 bill as introduced, approved in subcommittee and approved in committee, each announced in English and in Spanish: June, July, September. These are the first bills in which the prohibition on funding the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees appears under his chairmanship.
U.S. aid to Palestinians
- [Position, 2024-11-26] A video conversation with Rep. Mike Simpson published by his office, transcribed on the page. On the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees he said: “When we saw what happened in Israel in October, the Israelis and many of us in Congress complained about a U.N. institution in that part of the world, that, in essence, has become almost like an agency of Hamas – UNWRA, the U.N. Works and Relief Agency.” And: “The Administration and the Democrats in the Senate wanted to keep funding a group that, I think, has become captured entirely by Hamas.” And: “The good news, by the way, is that we did finally get that done.” The page spells the agency's name as printed. The video itself was not watched; the transcript on the page was read.
- [Position, 2024-01-26 onward] The prohibition on United States funding for that agency appears in every bill he has written since, and is listed in the summaries of the fiscal 2025, 2026 and 2027 bills linked above. The fiscal 2026 law also carries the Taylor Force Act compliance language and the restrictions on payments to prisoners for acts of terrorism, and the fiscal 2024 bill his office says conditions any assistance to Gaza.
- [Position, 2026-04-29] The Jewish Insider report above records that a second amendment at the markup, setting aside at least $400 million to rebuild civilian infrastructure in Gaza, failed 32 to 25. The report attributes no words to him about that amendment.
- [Earlier record, 2023-02-01] His interview with Jewish Insider on taking over the subcommittee. The report says he “declined to say if he’d seek to cut off U.S. aid to the Palestinians, as the Trump administration did, but laid out concerns about the Palestinian Authority’s payments to the families of terrorists and the U.N. Relief and Works Agency’s educational materials valorizing terrorism”, and that direct aid to Palestinian non-governmental organizations would have to be “looked at with a microscope”. He is quoted on the United Nations generally: “I am always reminded that this is people’s hard-earned money”; “I’m not willing to look the other way”; and that his budget proposal for the United Nations would be “aggressive”.
- Nothing located in which he speaks about humanitarian aid reaching Gaza, or about the aid pipeline itself, apart from the conditions his bills place on any assistance that goes there.
Characterization of the conflict
- [Position, 2024-10-07] His statement on the first anniversary of the October 7 attack: “A year ago today, Israel suffered the deadliest terrorist attack in its 76-year history. The Israel-Hamas war began when Hamas, the evil, Iranian-backed terrorist group, launched an unprovoked and barbaric assault on Israel on October 7, resulting in the massacre of more than 1,200 innocent civilians, including 46 Americans.” And: “As Israel defends itself against relentless attacks from Iran’s axis of terror–Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis–it is more important than ever that the United States stand firmly with Israel in defeating terrorism, which poses existential threats on all fronts.” The same statement asks the administration to stop unfreezing Iranian assets and to reinforce sanctions against Iran. The Congressional Latino-Jewish Caucus, which he co-chairs, issued a separate joint statement the same day.
- [Position, 2024-05-06] His statement on Israeli operations in Rafah: “Let us not forget that Hamas has brought this upon the people of Gaza, not Israel. Hamas is solely responsible for what is happening in Rafah today.” And: “It is Israel's absolute right and duty to protect itself and its citizens from terrorist organizations and take out and destroy the evil that is Hamas once and for all.”
- [Position, 2025-10-07] His statement on the second anniversary, and a joint statement of the caucus co-chairs the same day, both demanding the release of the remaining hostages.
- [Position, 2024-02-15] His statement on House passage of a resolution condemning sexual violence committed by Hamas.
- [Reaction window, 2024-01-16] The introduction of that resolution with Reps. Lois Frankel, Kathy Manning and Jen Kiggans. Not on the card summary; recorded here with its date.
- [Position, 2025-04-08 and 2024-11-14] Two joint statements of the caucus co-chairs after meeting released hostages and families of hostages: April 2025 and November 2024. Both are collective statements.
- [Position, 2025-07-16] His reintroduction of the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act with Rep. Jared Moskowitz. He said: “The global Muslim Brotherhood has numerous regional branches, including terrorist organizations such as Hamas, and spreads violence and instability throughout the Middle East.” Our research dated this July 17, 2025 and cited a Senate release for the companion bill; the Senate page did not open, and his own release, dated July 16, 2025, was read instead.
- [Earlier record, 2021-05-16] A Jewish Journal column collecting statements from public officials during that year's fighting prints under his name: “Israel has every right to defend itself, and I stand with #Israel. I am saddened by loss of life due to the cowardly acts of terrorists funded by the terrorist state of Iran.” The column quotes dozens of other officials, and none of their words is used here. The underlying post of his was not read.
- [Reaction window, 2023-10-14] His statement condemning remarks by Colombian President Gustavo Petro, published in English and in Spanish. Not on the card summary; recorded here with its date.
- [Reaction window, 2023-11-02] A joint statement of the Latino-Jewish Caucus co-chairs on Chile, Colombia and Bolivia severing or downgrading diplomatic ties with Israel. Not on the card summary; recorded here with its date.
- [Reaction window, 2023-12-05] A joint statement of the caucus co-chairs after meeting families of hostages. Not on the card summary; recorded here with its date.
- [Reaction window, 2023-12-14] His statement on the annual defense authorization bill. Not on the card summary; recorded here with its date.
Israel-related rhetoric and lobbying
- [Position, 2024-05-03] A joint statement he led with Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Tony Gonzales, Adriano Espaillat, María Elvira Salazar and Henry Cuellar on Colombian President Gustavo Petro severing diplomatic relations with Israel.
- [Position, 2026-07-15] The explanatory report accompanying his 2027 bill, described in the Jewish Insider report above, instructs the administration to report on the boycott campaign against Israel and to expand vetting so that no United States aid reaches entities that engage in it or that target Israel at the International Criminal Court or the International Court of Justice, and blocks United States funding to South Africa in part over its advocacy against Israel. Those are provisions of the bill and the report, not statements of his.
- [Earlier record, 2023-02-01] The Jewish Insider interview above also records him describing Israel as an “amazing democracy” and “one of our best allies in the world” that “shares our values, our principles”.
- [Position, 2026-02-05] A commentary by the analyst Ravi Balgobin Maharaj, published by his office, which says of his fiscal 2026 bill: “On Israel, the bill is unequivocal, fully funding security assistance, prohibiting support for UNRWA, and reinforcing long-standing restrictions designed to keep U.S. funds out of the hands of terrorist groups.” Those are the commentator's words, republished by his office, not his own.
- The tracked funding totals on this record are shown as badges on this card and are not restated here. Nothing located in which he speaks about donations from any organization on this subject.
Safety and antisemitism (context, not an answer to what America sends)
- [Earlier record, 2020-09 and 2020-11-12] He was one of the founding members of the Inter-Parliamentary Task Force to Combat Online Antisemitism. The Times of Israel's report of the launch names him among four United States members alongside legislators from Australia, Canada, Israel and the United Kingdom, and its report of the group's November 2020 meeting records the call on social media companies to act. No words of his are quoted in either report. Our research reported both pages as closed to us; both opened.
- [Position, 2024-10-07] In the anniversary statement above he said: “Since then, we have witnessed a sharp rise in antisemitism. I am gravely concerned about the growing hatred, vitriol, and efforts to delegitimize Israel, from international bodies like the United Nations and the International Criminal Court to institutions across our country, including campuses, businesses, and even within the halls of Congress.”
- [Position, 2026-07-22 and 2025-07-21] The Congressional Latino-Jewish Caucus resolution marking the anniversary of the 1994 AMIA Jewish community centre bombing in Buenos Aires, reported by the Jewish News Syndicate and announced by his office the previous year. The caucus marked the thirtieth anniversary in July 2024. The words the syndicate quotes from Reps. Darren Soto and Michael Rulli are theirs.
- [Position, 2025-04-12 and 2025-09-04] His Passover statement and his statement on the death of the Holocaust survivor David Schaecter.
- [Earlier record, 2022-07-12] A statement of Latino-Jewish Caucus members condemning a project that mapped Jewish institutions in Massachusetts, in English and in Spanish. A collective statement.
What his campaign site and his own pages say
- [Position; the page is undated and was read 2026-09-08] His campaign site, in English and in Spanish. Its record section says that as chairman he “cut spending 16% from FY25 with over $9 billion in savings and tougher oversight — fully funding the U.S.–Israel Memorandum of Understanding, countering the Chinese Communist Party's malign influence, keeping the IRGC on the terrorist list, and funding the fight against fentanyl flows into the U.S.” The four headline priorities on the site are lower costs, fiscal discipline, defending freedom and strong defence. Israel appears nowhere else on it.
- [Undated; read 2026-09-08] His congressional biography: twelfth term, elected in 2002, Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, Chairman of the National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Subcommittee and a member of the Defense Subcommittee, Dean of the Florida delegation and a Deputy Whip. The district covers communities in Miami-Dade County, including Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Springs, Virginia Gardens, Doral, Medley, Wynwood and Allapattah, and in Collier County, including Golden Gate, Lely, Everglades City, Chokoloskee, Ave Maria and Ochopee.
The race
- [Undated; read 2026-09-08] Ballotpedia: “Incumbent Mario Diaz-Balart, Nicole Locklin, and Deborah Meidinger Hosey are running in the general election for U.S. House Florida District 26 on November 3, 2026.” The primary expected for August 18, 2026 was not held, because only one candidate from each party qualified; he and Nicole Locklin each advanced without appearing on a primary ballot. The filing deadline was June 12, 2026. Deborah Meidinger Hosey has no party affiliation. His Ballotpedia page records his committee assignments, including Vice Chair of the Appropriations Committee.

Not on the card, and why
- The four statements he made between October 14 and December 14, 2023, and the resolution he introduced on January 16, 2024: they fall in the weeks this site keeps to the research page. They are above with their dates.
- His statements about Iran, including the passages in the May 2024 and October 2024 statements, the Iran clauses in his bills, and the provision keeping the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the terrorist list: Iran is a different question from what the United States sends to the government of Israel.
- The provision extending Israel's access to the War Reserves Stockpile and loan guarantees: it is set out above and in the deep dive and is kept off the front.
- The claim that he met Israeli officials with a congressional delegation on February 4, 2026 and posted about it: the Al Jazeera live page our research cited does not name him and carries nothing about a delegation. Nothing is written from it.
- The claim that he argued on the floor that Israel spends the money on American-made equipment: the only account of it is a self-published post that quotes no words of his.
- The words of Rep. Ken Calvert, Rep. Tom Cole, Rep. David Joyce, Rep. Rosa DeLauro, Rep. Lois Frankel, Sen. Ted Cruz, Rep. Jared Moskowitz, Rep. Darren Soto, Rep. Michael Rulli and the commentator whose piece his office republished: other people's words. Only his own are used.
- The Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, China, Taiwan, Ukraine, Nigeria and fentanyl material that fills most of his newsroom and most of his bills: out of scope. Ukraine and Taiwan appear on the card only inside his own quoted words about bills that named them alongside Israel.
- Nicole Locklin's and Deborah Meidinger Hosey's records: they belong on their own cards.
- The recorded votes and the tracked funding totals: both are shown as badges on this card.
