- ⚠⚠ [Attributed, 2026-06-21, NOT VERIFIED] The research turned up: the U.S. must condition aid on Israel abiding by international law and the rules of war, and "Before we provide additional support for Israel – support that contributes to the humanitarian crisis facing innocent Palestinians in Gaza – there should be a ceasefire, including the release of hostages, long enough to provide food, shelter and healthcare to civilians," and that if further action against Hamas is necessary "it must be carried out surgically." Source: a post in a Facebook group, not readable.
- ⚠⚠ **THE DUPLICATION, which is why this is not on the card.** The same research attributes a near-identical statement to **`ga8-esti`** (Kelly Esti, Georgia's 8th District), dated 2025-11-09: "before the United States provides additional military or financial support for Israel, support she noted contributes to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, there must be a ceasefire accompanied by the release of hostages long enough to deliver food, shelter, and medical care to civilians," with future action "conducted surgically." **Two candidates, two districts, two dates, one statement.** Both trace to posts in the same Facebook group (`groups/httpscivicdinners.comusers15065`). Either one attribution is wrong, or both are reproducing a shared questionnaire or forum answer that neither authored.
