As an Iowa state representative in 2025, Josh Turek voted for a failed amendment that would have conditioned the Iowa House's pro-Israel resolution on Israel's "adherence to international humanitarian law and protection of innocent civilian lives," and then voted for final passage of the resolution after that amendment failed, according to Jewish Insider (September 2025). His campaign declined to comment on those votes or on his position on efforts to suspend U.S. arms sales and transfers to Israel. Turek is listed as an endorsed candidate by JStreetPAC for the 2026 cycle. His campaign platform does not mention U.S. aid or weapons to Israel, Gaza, or related foreign-policy questions.
