Don Tracy
Tracy's official campaign platform ('Defend the American Dream': lower cost-of-living, 'common sense solutions,' represent all of Illinois) is entirely domestic and states no position on U.S. weapons or aid to Israel, aid conditioning, Gaza, UNRWA, or Israel-related boycotts. However, in a November 4, 2025 interview on Illinois Public Media's 'The 21st Show' (writeup published Nov. 5, 2025 by IPM Newsroom), Tracy DID state an on-topic position: he called U.S. involvement in Israel's war in Gaza 'measured and appropriate from the very beginning,' said 'Israel has been a very strong ally of ours for many years,' that 'we should support our allies,' and that Israel 'has done a better job of minimizing collateral damage than almost any other warring nation in a war of this consequence.' This is a general pro-continued-support posture; he did not address specific arms-sale dollar figures, aid conditioning, UNRWA, or boycott-divestment-sanctions. Because on-topic content exists, this record is NOT an honest-absence and is flagged NEEDS-RESEARCH for a full pass (transcribe the full audio; check for statements specifically on arms/money quantities and conditioning). Separately, a March 6, 2026 campaign press release attacked Democrats Krishnamoorthi and Kelly for voting against H.Res. 1099 (Iran as largest state sponsor of terrorism) — Israel-adjacent, not a direct Israel-aid position.
