Joe Lombardo
Joe Lombardo is the Republican incumbent Governor of Nevada and his party's 2026 general-election nominee. On the site's issue, his record is limited to public expressions of solidarity with Israel rather than any stated position on U.S. weapons or money to the Israeli government. Following the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks he issued an official statement that 'Israel has a right to defend itself' and that 'the United States and the American people stand with Israel,' lowered flags to half-staff, lit the state Capitol blue, and spoke at a Las Vegas solidarity event pledging to 'fully support Israel.' In a February 2026 statement on U.S./Israeli strikes on Iran he called Iran a longstanding threat to 'the United States, Israel and any hope of peace in the Middle East.' As a state governor he has no direct role in federal military aid, and no statement was found in which he addresses conditioning, restricting, or expanding U.S. aid or weapons transfers to Israel, or Gaza-related leverage.
