Max L. Miller

Republican · U.S. House, Ohio District 7

Miller introduced a resolution condemning the 2024 pause on arms transfers to Israel, calling the hold "a danger to Israel, the hostages still held by Hamas – including Americans, and a gift to a dastardly terrorist organization."

Miller has represented Ohio's 7th District since 2023.

His May 2024 resolution condemning the administration's pause on certain arms transfers is the clearest statement on his record and the only one in the position band. The pause, he said, "on certain defense articles ready for imminent delivery to Israel without consulting Congress is a danger to Israel, the hostages still held by Hamas – including Americans, and a gift to a dastardly terrorist organization and its sympathizers." He continued: "Any daylight between the U.S. and Israel on military matters only risks the lives of the hostages, further emboldens Hamas and Iran-backed forces in the region by weakening Israel's negotiating hand at a pivotal moment and weakens Israel's efforts to protect its sovereignty and citizens."
