Congressman Max Miller said the laws of war should be swept aside." **That sentence is the newspaper's characterisation of him, not a quotation of his words**, and it appears in an article about several politicians. The body of the piece as opened contains only two mentions of him and no quotation from him, so nothing is quoted here.
⚠ **A phrase the research attributed to him could not be found at all.** The research reported that he expressed sentiments that Gaza should be "turned into a parking lot." That phrase **does not appear anywhere in the Guardian article cited for it**.
