Deep Dive
Mazzei is the Republican nominee for governor of Oklahoma, having won his party's primary runoff on August 25, 2026 by 50.3 percent to 49.7. He has never held federal office, so none of the congressional votes this site tracks are his.
He has said one thing in public on this subject that can be read in his own words. On June 22, 2025 he posted that the president was "protecting our ally Israel and securing peace in the Mid East". The post says nothing about what the United States should send, or on what terms, and it is not treated here as though it did.
The other claim about him is older and thinner, and it is not on this card. This record's summary says he once co-authored a resolution commending Israel for its relationship with the United States, and holds no link, no document and no date for it. A resolution congratulating Israel on the sixty-eighth anniversary of its founding did move through the Oklahoma legislature in May 2016, and the Senate's own account of that week names a member of the House as its author and does not name Mazzei on it. A second search in August 2026 for any Oklahoma resolution commending Israel with his name on it returned nothing. We could not verify this claim against any source we could open, so it stays on his research page.

• His 2026 campaign issues page lists six issues: property tax for seniors and veterans, protecting Oklahoma land, education, jobs, government accountability and right to life. It contains nothing on U.S. weapons, U.S. funding to Israel, foreign aid or foreign policy; its only reference to foreign parties concerns foreign ownership of Oklahoma land.
