Deep Dive
Weber represents Texas’s 14th District on the Gulf Coast and is running for re-election.
He appears to hold a clear position and none of it can be sourced. An initial search reports that in April 2024, after Iran’s missile and drone attack on Israel, he criticized the administration both for waiving sanctions on Iran and for placing limits on U.S. military aid to Israel, and said he remains "unwavering in my support of Israel". It reports that after a delegation trip that month he pressed for unrestricted U.S. diplomatic and strategic backing for Israel’s campaign against Hamas. And it reports that in March 2024, asked about the restriction of humanitarian aid into Gaza, he said Israel "has the right to do whatever they want to do".
The page an initial search cites for the first of those is a release on his Countering Antisemitism Act, which is a real statement of his about a real bill and says nothing about aid to Israel. The March 2024 remark has no source page anywhere in the sources found. His House press listing was searched release by release and the April 2024 statement is not on it.
So the reported material is on the research page and not on this card. It is quoted there in an initial search’s words so a reader can see exactly what is claimed and judge it.
What is verified of his own words sits outside the current window or outside the subject. In April 2023 he called Israel "an incredible nation and our strongest ally in the Middle East". In April 2024 he introduced the bipartisan Countering Antisemitism Act, saying Congress "cannot stand idly by" as Jewish communities face attacks, which the content rule treats as context rather than an answer on aid. U.S. military aid and weapons to Israel
- 2024-04 [Current position; REPORTED, NOT SOURCED; not on the card]: An initial search reports that after Iran's missile and drone attacks on Israel he issued a statement criticising the administration for waiving sanctions against Iran and for placing limits on U.S. military aid to Israel, and reiterating that he remains "unwavering in my support of Israel".
⚠ **THE PAGE AN INITIAL SEARCH CITES IS ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE.** The url it attached was read in full on 2026-08-11 properly: it is his release announcing the bipartisan Countering Antisemitism Act, dated April 2024, and it contains no reference to military aid, weapons, limits, waivers or the word "unwavering". His House press listing was then walked release by release and no April 2024 statement on aid limits appears on it. So this claim has no source page, and the earlier version of this card put the claim on the card front with that url behind it. That link is now gone.
- 2024-04-10 [Current position; REPORTED, NOT SOURCED]: An initial search reports that after returning from a delegation trip he pressed for unrestricted U.S. diplomatic and strategic backing for Israel's campaign against Hamas. No source page.
- 2023-11-02 [Months after October 7, 2023; on this page only]: Press statement announcing strong backing for $14.3 billion in emergency military assistance to Israel, for missile defence systems including Iron Dome and equipment for the Israel Defense Forces: "The jihadist terror organization Hamas will stop at nothing to eradicate every single Israeli, and the United States has a duty to step in and support our greatest ally, Israel." **His most specific act on what the United States sends**, and in the months after October 7, 2023.
- 2025-06-23 [Current position; ADVOCACY SOURCE, cannot carry a card]: He advocated direct U.S. military backing and intervention against Iranian threats to defend Israel, remarking that "Israel is the apple of God's eye". The only source page is Right Wing Watch, a project of People For the American Way. An advocacy source stays visible here and never carries a card.

U.S. aid to Palestinians
- 2024-03-12 [Current position; NO SOURCE PAGE; not on the card]: An initial search reports that asked by media about Israel's military operation and the restriction of humanitarian aid in Gaza, he said Israel "has the right to do whatever they want to do" in defending its national security. **No source page for this appears anywhere in the sources found.** It is the only located statement of his bearing on aid to Palestinians. An earlier version of this card carried it attributively; on the rule that an item whose source cannot be opened goes to the research page, it now sits here instead, quoted in an initial search’s words so a reader can see exactly what is claimed.
