Ossoff supports continued U.S. military aid to Israel but argues the U.S. should use the leverage of arms transfers to influence Israeli conduct, telling the Senate on November 20, 2024 that no foreign government is entitled to American weapons "with no strings attached." His votes on arms-sale disapproval resolutions have shifted case by case: on November 20, 2024 he voted for two of the three Sanders resolutions (blocking tank cartridges and mortar rounds) but against the third (a JDAM-related export license); on April 3, 2025 he voted against both Sanders resolutions targeting roughly $8.8 billion in bomb sales, citing hostage-release diplomacy; and on July 30, 2025 he voted to advance a resolution blocking a rifle sale while opposing one blocking air-to-ground munitions. He has framed his votes against specific weapons shipments as objections to the Netanyahu government's conduct of the war and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza rather than to the U.S.-Israel alliance; he calls the U.S. commitment to Israel's security "ironclad."
