Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA10), the 2026 Republican U.S. Senate nominee in Georgia who won the June 16, 2026 primary runoff to challenge Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff, has a consistently pro-Israel-aid record in the U.S. House. At an October 7, 2024 memorial marking the first anniversary of the Hamas attack, he vowed to "make sure that Israel has the resources to defend themselves." On July 15, 2026 he was among all House Republicans who voted against Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie's amendment to strip $3.3 billion in U.S. security assistance to Israel (amendment defeated 104-314). His Senate campaign contrasts his record with Ossoff's votes to block certain U.S. weapons sales to Israel; a Collins spokesperson said in July 2026 that Collins' "lifelong support for Israel and the Jewish people is guided by his personal beliefs and backed by his consistent voting record."
