Rocco Bonacci is an independent candidate in Oklahoma's 4th District, which covers much of south central and southwestern Oklahoma. He is 51 and lives in Lawton, where he finished at Eisenhower High School in 1994, and he is described everywhere his name appears as a disability advocate; he sits on the Lawton Access Board and belongs to the Lawton chapter of the Oklahoma Council of the Blind. Independents in Oklahoma do not run in primaries. He reached the November ballot by filing with the State Election Board during the April 1 to 3, 2026 filing period, which is the one route to the general election for a candidate with no party. He faces Representative Tom Cole and Mitchell Jacob on November 3, 2026. He has never held office, so none of the congressional votes this site tracks is his.

This is an empty record on these questions rather than a thin one. He has no campaign website and no issues page of his own, and the fullest published account of what he stands for is three sentences in the League of Women Voters of Oklahoma's guide to the November election, which the League wrote from publicly available material about him. Its summary is health care reform and better access to care, grassroots and local service, community inclusion and opportunity, and opposition to "US involvement in unnecessary foreign wars". That last phrase names no country, no weapons and no aid program, and it is the nearest anything published about him comes to this subject. Ballotpedia's candidate survey, which invites a candidate to say what they care about most, carries no answers from him, and neither the state's other candidate guides nor the news coverage of the race records a word from him on foreign policy of any kind. An empty record carries no implication either way.

His campaign's page on Facebook, headed Rocco Bonacci for US House District #4, would open only far enough to confirm that it is his, and his personal Facebook and LinkedIn accounts did not open at all. Those three addresses are on his research page so that anyone who can open them may look, and they are the one place a statement of his could still be sitting.

Under DISTRICT 4 and under his own heading, "Rocco Bonacci (I)", it gives his age as 51, his home as Lawton, his education as Lawton Eisenhower High School (1994) and his occupation as "Lawton Access Board, member • Oklahoma Council of the Blind, Lawton Chapter", and then, under POSITIONS: "Supports meaningful healthcare reform and improved healthcare access and outcomes. Favors grassroot and local service, community inclusion, and creating opportunity for all people. Opposes US involvement in unnecessary foreign wars." The guide states its own method on its last page: "The candidate research is based on publicly available information including campaign websites, social media, public events, and media statements." The page records the filing deadline as April 3, 2026, the primary as June 16, 2026 and the primary runoff as August 25, 2026. Neither party's contest in this district went to the runoff: Tom Cole defeated Marcie Everhart in the Republican primary on June 16, 2026 with 71.1 percent, 52,717 votes to 21,402, and Mitchell Jacob defeated Jeff Pixley in the Democratic primary the same day with 54.4 percent, 18,243 votes to 15,266. Both results are recorded as certified. Kody Macaulay is listed as a withdrawn or disqualified Democratic candidate.
  • [Read 2026-09-22] The Oklahoma State Election Board's list of candidates for elective office, 2026, headed "Filed in the office of the State Election Board April 1-3, 2026" and compiled as of 5:00 p.m. on April 3, 2026, lists him under DISTRICT 04 as the sole entry under Independent. That filing is how he reached the November ballot; Oklahoma's June primary and August runoff are party contests, and a candidate with no party does not appear in them.
  • [Undated; read 2026-09-22] The Oklahoma Constitution's survey of the state's congressional races says the same thing in words: "Rocco Bonacci, 51, of Lawton filed as an independent – no political party – candidate and will be on the November General Election ballot. Its own text places it after the June 16 primary and before the August 25 runoff, because it says the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate seat "will not be decided until the runoff primary on August 25". The posts themselves need a signed-in reader and were not read. This is the likeliest place for anything he has said.
