Christine Drazan

Republican · Governor of OR

Christine Drazan (R) is Oregon's 2026 Republican gubernatorial nominee — a state senator from Canby, former Oregon House Republican Leader, and the party's 2022 nominee who lost narrowly to Tina Kotek; she won the May 19, 2026 GOP primary (~43%) to set up a rematch. Her only located in-scope statement is an Oct. 11, 2023 post on her X/Twitter account sharing a statement on 'the ongoing war in Israel' tagged '#IStandWithIsrael'; she was out of elected office at the time (she left the Oregon House in Jan. 2022 and did not return to the Legislature until 2025). Her 2026 campaign website is confined to domestic state issues (cost of living, economy, homelessness, housing, schools, government reform) and contains no foreign-policy or Israel content. As of July 24, 2026 no dated statement or vote by Drazan was located on U.S. military aid or weapons to Israel, aid-conditioning, Gaza leverage, UNRWA, Israel boycott/anti-boycott legislation, Israel bonds, state pension divestment, or National Guard action tied to Israel/Gaza. Record on this site's specific issue is essentially empty beyond the single 2023 solidarity post.
