Healey has never held federal office and has no roll-call record on U.S. aid to Israel; her on-topic record consists of statements as governor plus a state economic partnership with an Israeli hospital system. Her clearest statement came on May 3, 2024, at her monthly 'Ask the Governor' segment on GBH's Boston Public Radio at UMass Boston: asked whether President Biden should have placed conditions on funding military equipment for Israel, she endorsed the president's call for a cease-fire and said 'I think it's also clear that we should continue to support Israel with that funding' — Boston.com reported the same exchange as Healey agreeing with Biden's decision to continue sending military aid to Israel without conditions. Her official statements about Israel and the war are otherwise solidarity and antisemitism statements that do not address weapons, arms sales or funding: her October 7, 2025 press release marking the second anniversary of the Hamas attack renewed her 'call for the return of all hostages and lasting peace in the region' and said nothing about U.S. weapons or money. Healey on May 6, 2025 hosted the leadership of Israel's Sheba Medical Center at the State House to celebrate its decision to open its first U.S. health-care startup accelerator ('ARC') in Massachusetts, appearing alongside the Israeli Consul General to New England; Sheba's ARC founder described the arrangement as a 'strategic partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.' In an early-July 2025 GBH radio appearance a caller asked why residents should trust a company the caller said actively supports Israel's military; Healey did not directly discuss Gaza and instead defended the accelerator, calling it 'really cool' and saying she welcomed the investment, which she noted came at 'no cost to us.' Protesters with Massachusetts Peace Action and the Alliance for Water Justice held a 'die-in' outside the State House on December 16, 2025 demanding she denounce the launch, sever all state ties to Sheba ARC and pledge to stop using taxpayer money to support it; State House News Service reported that Healey had called Sheba 'a true global leader' in May and that she reiterated the state's commitment to fighting antisemitism at a Hanukkah menorah lighting that week. No evidence was found of Healey supporting or opposing conditions on U.S. military aid at any point after May 2024.
