How this mark works
We track key votes on sending U.S. weapons and money to the government of Israel. A check means every tracked vote they cast came down against sending more, on the side of peace and de-escalation. A question mark means a mixed record: they sided with sending up to half of the time. An X means they voted to send more weapons and money in over half of their tracked votes, even as the way those weapons and dollars were being used became more and more obvious. At exactly half, money this election cycle from a lobbying group we track, or an endorsement from a group that backs sending weapons, makes it an X. Only votes actually cast are counted. Where a candidate has no recorded votes on these bills, the mark comes instead from a reviewed reading of their public record (money from the lobbying groups we track, endorsements, and their own words since January 26, 2024). There an X also covers fully backing the conduct of the war by the government of Israel without significant reservations, and a question mark also covers speaking about Israel without saying clearly where they stand on U.S. weapons and funding. Killin is the Democratic nominee in Colorado’s 5th District, an Army veteran and fourth-generation Coloradan challenging the sitting member.
What exists of her positions comes from one exchange: a March 8, 2026 community forum where attendees pressed her on Gaza. As captured on video by an activist page critical of her, and analyzed by a third-party claim-check that found she "does not adopt the genocide frame or commit to an arms embargo in the captured exchange", she reportedly expressed concern for the humanitarian situation in Gaza, criticized Prime Minister Netanyahu, did not commit to an arms embargo, and said she does not accept money from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The two sources disagree about almost everything else, including whether her money pledge holds, but they agree she made no embargo commitment and did not use the word genocide. Both rest on the same five-minute recording, and neither quotes her on aid. We could not watch that video, so all of it is carried as reported, with the sources’ own slants stated on the research page.
Her campaign has not published a position on U.S. weapons, aid packages, or aid to Palestinians that this project could locate and read. Ask Killin directly and send us the reply: it goes on this page in her own words.

U.S. military aid and weapons to Israel
[Position, 2026-03-08, unwatchable video sources, reported] The Tri-Lakes for Democracy forum exchange. Sources: an activist page’s video whose own caption says she "refused to go on the record" (the page’s slant, stated), a YouTube copy (not watched), and a claim-check wiki’s analysis which reads the same capture as her DECLINING to adopt an embargo or the genocide frame, the opposite slant. Both readings are recorded; neither is adopted; nothing is quoted. It is not yet confirmed: watching the video settles what she actually said.
[Position, 2026-03-08] Two accounts with opposite slants report the same non-commitment: the posting channel's own caption on YouTube ("She refused to call it a genocide and refused to commit to an arms embargo") and the Atlas Trace claim-check (2026-05-09), which read the transcript and found she "does not adopt the genocide frame or commit to an arms embargo in the captured exchange". Both rest on the same recording, a 5-minute video titled "Jessica Killin talks Gaza at Tri Lakes for Democracy Meeting", uploaded 2026-03-08 by the channel "Colorado CD7 Watermelon". Neither quotes her on aid, and neither says she declined conditions on aid; that wording, in this page's earlier card, is withdrawn.
The claim-check also finds "The current TrackAIPAC capture does not support a direct money-total allegation against Killin." On money, it reads her reply that she does not take "money" as an answer to the questioner's AIPAC comparison.
